After over a year and using all these charts I only have 10 inches, 25 cm., of 100's of small and large mistakes.
It's time to rip it all out and simplify my plan and start over. It's a shame to waste all the time and effort that I have in this sweater so far, but it would be a bigger shame to finish it as is and be disappointed in the end result forever.

I used to have several of these "incomplete" models. Whenever I reached the part with the arms, I gave up *g
I stopped about 20 years ago. One has to aceppt one's limits after all :-)
I have to have a couple of things like this around to keep my hands busy.
