Thursday

4th of July

Tommorrow is the 4th of July, wherein America celebrates their independence from the tyrannical rule of King George II of England. In 200 more days we can celebrate the end of King George II of Americas reign. Independence from the mess he's created will take somewhat longer.

And some good news, My favorite coffee shop is back! They used to be called Coffee People but then got bought out by starbucks, who, incidentally, are closing 600 stores in the U.S., anyway Coffee People are back under the Name Jim and Patty's. Maybe I should take the day off and go have some coffee, surely the boss would understand.

And Portland is the top city in the nation for gays?! Who knew? But is it gayer than McDonalds?

The Hawthorne district is supposed to have the largest Lesbian enclave in the nation, I stay far away from there ;)

LOL What a coincidence. The two Georges... I also keep my fingers crossed that in 200 days there is a change.

Have fun celebrating today :)

I can live without the fireworks, there's already been one firetruck go by, but Bbq is a necessity, with coleslaw ;P
