1. Patch a radiator hose
If I could find the radiator and figure out which hose was leaking I would try to wrap it with electricians tape.

2. Protect your computer

Uhhmm.. does somebody want to hurt it?

3. Rescue a boater who has capsized

I could stand on the shore and yell at him to swim for it.

4. Frame a wall

Oh Yeah, Lars is good at this one!

5. Retouch digital photos

Re-touch? Don't you have to print them out in order to just touch them in the first place/ Otherwise you just get fingerprints on your screen.

6. Back up a trailer

If it's small and not attached to the car I can usually back it up by hand.

7. Build a campfire

I build fires all the time, I do need lots of newspaper and occasionally more than one match, but hey, I can do it.

8. Fix a dead outlet

I can do this one too, electricity makes me nervous though and I put off doing it for as long as possible.

9. Navigate with a map and compass

I can read a map. The compass thing though..it's been a LONG time since I was a boyscout.

10. Use a torque wrench

Don't you need to use some torque with all wrenches?

11. Sharpen a knife

Yeah baby! Your Lars can sharpen knives, chisels, plane blades, scraper blades, lawn mowers etc. , how else do you think he cuts himself so often?

12. Perform CPR

No, but I do know where to find the list of people in the building that have taken the class.

Yes.

14. Maneuver a car out of a skid

Hey, I grew up in Montana and Wyoming, I know from slippery roads.

Can do, I'm a little sloppy and make a big mess though.

Only in small batches, it's a lot of work.
