Some of my best friends are gay

"I certainly have nothing against homosexuals. Many of my dear friends have been and are of that persuasion."
- The Rev. Peter Mullen, Chaplain to the London Stock exchange

"Let us make it obligatory for homosexuals to have their backsides tattooed with the slogan SODOMY CAN SERIOUSLY DAMAGE YOUR HEALTH and their chins with FELLATIO KILLS."
- The Rev. Peter Mullen, Chaplain to the London Stock exchange

Source.

"As for homosexuality, I am not going to judge Americans and the decisions that they make in their adult personal relationships. I have...one of my best friends for the last 30 years happens to be gay and I love her dearly. She's not my gay friend, she is one of my best friends who happens to have made a choice that isn't a choice that I have made. But I'm not going to judge people."
- Sarah Palin

The "best friend" that no one can find. But hey, if my best friend was opposed to me and my same sex partner having the same rights and protections as any other couple, I'd go into hiding as well.

Sarah, that dog won't hunt!

actually, it´s sad that it - obviously - must be deliberately highlighted if "friends" are gay or not. it´s the same discussion over here :(

[and: is sarah allowed to have gay friends at all? won´t god discipline her for having keeping bad company?]

Perhaps she befriends them in order to help them "pray the gay away"

she certainly does ;)))

here in austria we have a political party called "the christs" whose leader seriously argued that homosexuality was a desease which could be healed. by praying - self-evident.

[and: cancel having or keeping in my last post :)]
